Free parking for visiting the islands of Åstol or Dyrön by ferry, for example. Closer to the ferry stop, there is another paid parking lot with the Easy Park app. From here, it's a 20-minute walk to the ferry stop. Parking is free for 7 days. Might be difficult for motorhomes, but one was parked in the parking lot anyway. Houses are within sight, so no camping behavior. We slept there for one night because we got back to the van quite late in the evening after visiting the islands of Dyrön and Åstol and didn't want to drive any further. Opposite the parking lot on the other side of the street is a garbage collection point (paper, metal, plastic, etc.), but not general waste. Today, August 13th, there are plenty of parking spaces. Be careful, don't take the first turning on the right, that's the parking lot for the ice rink, but the second on the right.
