A park official directed me to this parking lot: I was originally in a parking lot closer to the i-site, but parking is not allowed there, he told me (although there are no signs indicating this at this other parking lot). It is busy until about 10:30 p.m. with the last visitors of the Redwoods Walk, but after that, it is very quiet until morning. I was the only one in the parking lot and I still felt safe there.
