This place is a haven of peace offering stunning views of misty, forested mountains. It offers many ideal camping spots. I spent four nights alone in my camper van, occasionally meeting locals. However, it is advisable to avoid holidays because of the crowds and noise. Local legends suggest that, although rare, there is a one in a thousand chance of seeing a wolf, bear or snake, but I did not encounter any.
