Biohof Hohweid

Idyllic, quiet pitch between a cattle pasture and a small vineyard on the Hohweid organic farm. A minute's walk up, you'll find a private barbecue area at the edge of the forest, with views of the Jura Mountains and the sunset. It's an ideal starting point for hikes (Mutzbach Waterfalls, Oberbühlchnubel viewpoint) or bike rides. The pitch has electricity and drinking water connections, a bench, and a fire pit with a grill. Restrooms and a simple hot shower are available on the farm. Use of the wood-burning sauna and playground is available upon request. Organic Natura beef, eggs, and dairy products are sold directly in the farm shop. Right next to the Hohweid organic farm is the "Glungge" (Glungge Inn), where the films "Ueli the Farmhand" and "Ueli the Tenant" were filmed. Enjoy snacks and drinks in the cozy Glungge-Beizli (self-service) under the old linden tree. Would you like to get a glimpse into our daily work on the farm and get involved?
