Currently, our park is only open to people who want to come and help. For example, working 2 half-days = the whole week free. There are all kinds of jobs for young and old, for tradespeople and amateurs. Within the Offgrid Ecoparc Catalan, we collaborate with various associations. To finance our projects, we make 150 m² gardens available to motorhome owners who come to help us. With us, you won't be standing on concrete or packed together like sardines in a can! Here, you can finally fully enjoy nature, a stone's throw from the Salses Leucate lagoon and right in the middle of the Natura 2000 nature reserve. And yet, there is a large shopping center nearby! In the village 2.5 km away: bakery, grocery store, pizzeria. It is above all one of the most unique places in the world to spot birds. You can reach the observation hut in less than 5 minutes' walk (photos on our website). But of course, you don't have to be a birdwatcher to admire the elegant flamingos on the lake. For nature lovers, Offgrid Ecoparc Catalan is the ideal starting point for walks and bike rides in the nature reserve and through the vineyards. Documentation is available on site. The gardens are situated in a large 1-hectare park with a thousand recently planted trees and shrubs. In every garden, you will find edible plants for your daily salad. There is ample space, even for very large vehicles. Dogs are welcome and (provided they get along with other dogs) roam freely in the common areas. There are 2 fenced gardens. If you are coming from the north and are on your way to Spain, Portugal, or Morocco, you will find us right in the center of the grounds. One week is enough to enjoy the healthy nature and continue your journey full of energy. The main North-South traffic axis (highway and local road) is located approximately 10 kilometers from our park. Water (not guaranteed to be drinkable) is free. Electricity €2/hour. If you do not use chemical products, we are happy to use your wastewater for watering. This way, every visitor helps a little with the drought problem in this region. You cannot empty chemical product cartridges here. We make our own fertilizer. So please deposit organic waste on the compost. We are happy to provide you with a special waste bag. So please bring mosquito spray. There is now an anti-mosquito machine in every garden. There is still a lot of work to be done in the park. There is heavy work, but also many light chores.
