20 minutes from the heart of the village of Saint Jean en Royans, the Hostel Quartier Libre has a car park allowing you to spend the night at the top of the Col de la Machine. The steep road that takes you there will allow you to admire the Combe Laval cirque. You can eat on site (reservation by telephone) or stock up on local products in their small grocery store. The hostel offers breakfast at €11/person and will serve you at the bar throughout the day without reservation. Their offer of organic raclette from Vercors in half-furniture is available all year round! It is also possible to access the showers and toilets for €5 per day. If you want to sleep in a tent, a field of the hostel welcomes you to bivouac at a free price. In the summer, you can enjoy a swim in the hostel's swimming pool. The Hostel Quartier Libre is located in a protected natural area, fires and barbecues are prohibited. The GR9 passes through here, there are many walks to do nearby!
