(9701) Sarandë - Unnamed Road

A level and quiet place to sleep. Access is a bit bumpy, as is often the case in Albania, but manageable even with larger vehicles and without a 4x4 or similar. We stayed here for two nights without any problems. There is some rubbish, but it's manageable. During the day, beach visitors park here (about a 5-10 minute downhill walk). Parking is also available further down, but access becomes increasingly difficult. From around 10 p.m. there are only a few cars, and practically nothing going on at night. Very quiet and relaxed. In the morning, however, there is hardly any shade. The beach is beautiful, but the music is very loud. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free, but you should buy drinks or food (a bit more expensive than normal, but okay). There is hardly any space to lie around in the open. The water is rough, with strong waves; not really suitable for children. Not particularly clear, very choppy and rocky.
