Welcome to the Sommerhalter Winery – your retreat amidst the vineyards. Here you can leave everyday life behind and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Our Sommerhalter Winery is located in the center of Mauchen, while our pitches just outside the village, surrounded by the rolling hills of the vineyards, are the perfect place to unwind. There are many wineries in the region that you can visit – and you are also very welcome at our winery! The location is ideal: Basel is just 30 minutes away, Freiburg is about 35 minutes away, and France is just a few minutes away. The Black Forest is also very close by, and a trip there is definitely worth it. For those who enjoy being active, there are numerous hikes, walks, or bike tours through the vineyards and the beautiful Rhine Valley – a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts! Please let us know when you would like to arrive so we can check if our pitch is available. We have three pitches, each of which offers you complete privacy. There are no electricity or water connections. Please take everything you brought with you and leave the place as you found it. Arrival is possible until 6 p.m. (please let us know if you will be arriving later).
