Dear campers, We live in Mönchneversdorf, a very idyllic forest town in Holstein Switzerland, with our bees that produce delicious honey. Runner ducks quack, watch over us, and bring a smile to everyone's face, and our two dogs are sweet to everyone who visits us. You can start your cycling tours from here, hiking through our forests to the Bungsberg, the highest peak in Schleswig-Holstein, where there is also a playground for children. Climb the Elisabeth Tower and, if the weather is nice, enjoy the view over East Holstein. There are many lakes in the area, where canoe rentals are also available. The Five Lakes Tour starts at Dieksee in Bad Malente, where you can also disembark along the way to explore the area and re-join later. Eutin, with its castle and old town with many restaurants and cafés, invites you to linger. You can easily start your cycling trip from here because we are centrally located. The bathing regulations from April to October also allow shopping on weekends. Edeka, doctors, a pharmacy, a savings bank, and a gas station can be found in Schönwalde am Bungsberg, 2 km away. Scharbeutz, Neustadt in Holstein, Grömitz, and the Bay of Lübeck are not far away. For water sports enthusiasts, Hohwacht Bay is ideal. From here, drive 14 km to Sehlendorf Beach with its white sand, where you can take long walks along the cliffs towards Weißenhauser Beach. There is also a water park for children. And with a little luck, you might find amber or even a lucky charm called the "Chicken God" on the beach. There is much to experience and discover here. Come by, we look forward to seeing you.
