Seydisfjordur Camping Sit

The campsite is located close to the town centre. It is surrounded by trees and divided into smaller areas. Please note that camping in Seyðisfjörður is only allowed at the campsite.  You are not allowed to camp anywhere else within the town limits. The campsite has excellent facilities for tents, motorhomes and folding campers. Electricity and toilet facilities for campers. A service building where you will find a dining room, cooking facilities, showers, outdoor grill, hot and cold water, washing machine, dryer and free internet connection. From summer 2020, dogs are allowed at the campsite provided they are kept on a leash at all times. Restaurants, grocery store, cafes, swimming pool, sports centre, sauna, hot tubs, children's playground, golf course, trout fishing, kayaking, marked hiking trails, bike rental, sea fishing, cruises and bird watching within 300 – 500 m. Within walking distance: The Technical Museum of East Iceland and Skaftfell Cultural Centre. The Icelandic Camping Card can be purchased at the campsite. During the summer, the campsite is very busy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when the ferry operates on the summer schedule. You may have some difficulty finding a suitable pitch, but remember that the staff will do their best to make your visit with us pleasant. The campsite reception is open from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The campsite staff are available to answer your calls during these hours. The age limit is 18 years, unless you are travelling with adults.
