ATTENTION: off-road experience required! Sand, sandstone, clay, gravel, sharp stones, deep holes, some very eroded and steep passages. Wet: when it's wet, you can only get back up with a 4x4 and ideally with spikes or chains. Dry: when the route is dry, it's OK, but you should still have some experience here and there. When you get to the bottom, you can turn around easily at the water line or in the water because there is firm gravel there. Above the water line, there is soft sand, and you sink quickly there. We went down in dry conditions with a Ford Ranger without a 4x4 and still got there. We only had 4x4 active in the sand. There is a bit more rubbish on the beach, the water is very shallow, you can only stand up straight by balancing. Very quiet because there is no one there.
