The ground is soft for relatively light vehicles. Just after the footbridge for the Lagoa de Sancha hike, at the start of the Bebeda trail, you can stop in a pine and eucalyptus forest... we're outside the protected area. You can hear a little traffic, but the night was quiet. Judging by the litter (there's still quite a bit left by the volunteers), the area must be very busy in summer. It's fine for one night. For heavier vehicles, the footbridge parking lot has less soft ground but is noisier. Note: this is natural surroundings, there are mosquitoes and wild boar tracks...
