Large parking lot (although not many ground-level ones) at the Takasumi Shrine with a public toilet that is open 24 hours a day (there are other toilets at the shrine). The sinks were broken during our visit, but there is a small watercourse 15m further along the side of the road with clean water from the mountain's springs, where we were able to fill up our drinking bottles. The parking lot is the starting point for an approximately 2-hour hike to the summit of Mount Kitadake with sometimes difficult terrain, so hiking shoes are strongly recommended. 3G/4G cell phone reception was only available above the parking lot.
