In the Bärenwald Müritz, rescued brown bears from poor husbandry conditions are offered a new, species-appropriate home. The organic bistro and the shop with regional products are open all year round and can also be visited without admission. Coffee and cake can be enjoyed on the freely accessible roof terrace. A fenced-in free run is available near the parking lot for visiting furry friends. Parking is permitted during business hours and can also be used with larger mobile homes. The bus turning loop must be kept clear. The nearest campsites are in Bad Stuer and Zislow. A path leads from the car park to the Stuer castle ruins.
