Great place overlooking the lake, the path getting here is somewhat grown in by pine trees so wouldn’t recommend for anything bigger than ours (land cruiser), good ground clearance necessary. This spot is not visible by the town on the other side of the river, the level spots are all visible so we chose to just prop up our tires with big rocks (many are around) and it worked good. The 2 trees next to it provide good wind protection and there is fire places around. Beautiful views of the snow capped mountains, hills and the lake. Really nice and clean even tho it seems many people camp/picnic here in the summer, please keep it like this!!
