Hidden in the palm grove, the road is about a hundred meters away, but not very busy. A peaceful spot surrounded by palm trees, with few or no visitors and the mountains as a backdrop... a feast for the eyes. There are park attendants; the fee is only for the attendants, who are on duty all night (at least during the peak season of February/March), and a portion is also given to the garbage collection service. You don't need to register; the park attendant comes around in the evening, collects the fee, and gives you a receipt/ticket. The attendants exchange money, so it's best to pay each day separately. The town center is 2 km away and easily reachable on foot. There you'll find many restaurants, snack bars, a bakery, banks, shops, a small souk, and the very authentic Amazigh shop "La Maison Touareg," as well as a small museum. Around the Almond Blossom Festival in late February/early March, it gets incredibly crowded. It's crowded in February/March, but pleasantly empty the rest of the year.
