Camping Le Lanfonnet

The campsite is located directly on the road that runs around the lake. Traffic is barely noticeable in the front area; in the rear area (especially on the pitches without electricity), traffic noise can be unpleasant. There is no direct access to the lake. However, about 250 meters away, there is a spacious lawn with a kiosk and snack bar – beautifully situated and well-maintained. Directly across the street from the campsite, there is a simple, inexpensive pizzeria that occasionally offers live music. Next to the campsite, there is also a modern bar with a chill-out area – stylishly designed and well-frequented. A small supermarket on site offers the essentials. However, the selection was limited during our visit. The nearest fully stocked supermarket is about 4 km away. The pitches are sufficiently large and mostly level. However, only about half of the pitches have electricity. The sanitary facilities are dated and probably date back to the 1980s. Renovation is urgently needed. At the time of our visit, two showers were broken, and the lighting in the men's area didn't work in the evening. The price for one person with a car and tent was €25 per night. Electricity is charged an additional €6.50 per day. The staff was very friendly and generally multilingual. Check-in and check-out were straightforward. There was no need to specify the length of stay in advance, which is particularly convenient for flexible travelers.
