(0481) Te Hiku Community - Foreshore Road

You are allowed to park all along Foreshore Road, so long as you are a self contained vehicle. I stopped at a small campsite that was not open, but managed to speak to the owner, and although I could not stop there he said he had talked to the local council, and they had confirmed to him, so long as self contained, parking along Foreshore Road was allowed, public toilets. An amazing place, walk strait onto the beach, lovely peaceful night spent, apart from the sound of the waves lapping the shore.
