Close to the Isthmus Peak Trail Small Parking, where people also spend the night, there is a nicer small hidden spot, on top of the hill. Access from the main road, few meter south w.r.t. the parking place. Don't park in front of the gate and on the country road (this is probably the access to the adjacent farm).
