Entrance to Thermopylae. Here's the entrance from Route 1, next to the old, abandoned gas station (photo). Behind it, towards the pine trees (photo), then turn left. The river is very warm, and there are many good swimming spots. Otherwise, as mentioned before, keep an eye on your RV. I wouldn't recommend spending the night here, but it's great for swimming. There isn't a big trash problem, and if there is, just take a full bag with you.
