(1001) Tirana - Hida Road

A quiet gravel spot on one of the curves leading up to the viewpoint. You can also drive further up to the top, it's even more beautiful there, but unfortunately we didn't know that before. However, there is space for many more campers at the top, so you are probably not alone there. There are lots of campers in some of the bends all along the route. You have a great view of the Bovilla reservoir, which unfortunately you cannot swim in. There is still a lot going on here during the day/early evening and many tourists walk/drive past. Quiet at night. The journey is (like almost everywhere in Albania) not necessarily comfortable, but was definitely doable for us without a 4x4.
