Farm Narava

If you’re looking for lashings of culture and outdoor adventure, you’ll get them both at Farm Narava, 15 minutes’ drive from pretty Most na Soči and 25 minutes from UNESCO-listed Idrija in Goriška, western Slovenia. At this peaceful and humble not-for-profit social intercultural community farm, you’ll also get a warm welcome with a chilled drink, and once settled, find lots of active things to do in the spectacular alpine countryside. Wild swimming options in the warmer season and direct across the farm, hike forest path with on the top cosy mountain villages. There are quiet corners and cosy outdoor terraces with picnic seating around on different levels on the hill farm if you’d rather just chill on site. Enjoy at the humble clubhouse on site that is suitable for all kind of weather conditions, and with 24/7 WIFI access. You can find inside the clubhouse also a small music bar, a basic kitchen with cooking options. Outside there is a 20+ persons covered grill sitting area, but because of the colder weather, this and certain outdoor activigirs are only in use between May till the end of September. You can also join on certain days with a nice musical evening around the campfire, or head to one of the local bars to sample Slovenian beer. There are options on certain days to visit the local brewery Zajc that is located 10 minutes from the farm. Bus station is close by and the train station within in 10 minutes * Tip you can take the car train and visit easy Bohinj and Bled*. Tolmin city center is within 15 minutes, Idrija city center within 25 minutes, Nova Gorica center within 40 minutes. Stays at Farm Narava also include the use of a kayak and mountain bike without high rental cost and is offered from inside our cultural sponsor program between May until the end of September (first-come, first-served). A basic breakfast 9:00 is included within the contribution price whole year round (you can upgrade to egg on toast, a Slovenian pancake or cereal) and in the evening around +- 18:00 an sponsored warm meal will be made for you if requested on time in the morning. Wine, cold beer and other drinks – are available for a cost on certain times, as are lunch options, between May until the end of September you can also enjoy at the farm's beer garden with a nature bar and outside sitting. There’s also a outdoor kiosk from the charity organisation, where you can order fresh made pizzas or grill dishes upon reservation and small contribution cost the whole year round. Our outdoor activities on offer are subject to the season from May to the end of September, that before or after its not possible to stay over with your tent exception with your campervan on the campervan stop or use of our studio room. Cars are not permitted on the family friendly farm (parking is down the road next to the campervan stop). It’s most safe for kids because the car free setup, kids who can have a workout on the climbing frames, slides and trampoline the whole year round. Facilities are being upgraded, but currently consist of a simple compost toilet and outdoor shower for the tent pitches and campervan stop. Please note that you need to arrive by +- 19:00 latest, as it’s not possible to pitch up after ; bring torches for moving around at night, the lights around the community area will be out after 22:00. For just €15 per day per person, includes breakfast and a warm sponsored meal from the Narava Foundation / Host Family. Children under 3 years old, will always join for free. From the age of 3 on and within our youth culture sponsor program, you only pay a small contribution from €5 per day for your child(ren). In case you just need a fast overnight outside the season with your campervan. let us know and we can see what we can offer for just the overnight parking at the campervan stop down the road. there is also 1 studio room in our offer, this is for max 2 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Animals are welcome on own risk and responsibilities. The studio room comes with own toilet, shower and washing machine. €39 contribution price per day for 1 person only, €59 for 2 adults or family with child(ren), it comes also with breakfast and sponsored warm meal.
