Very quiet parking spots next to the small Capilla de San Cidre. The location is far out in the countryside and rarely visited. No traffic noise, very few people around. Its elevated position offers a beautiful view, although it can be windy at times. There is a bench and a rubbish bin. Space for 2 (maximum 3) vans, slightly sloped. If you can choose your spot freely, you can park level. The only possible downside could be two transmission masts located not far away. In the distance, you can also see some wind turbines. It’s best to approach via the paved road from Montelén, following the signs to “Ermita”. The last kilometre is a well-maintained gravel track. ⚠️ Warning: Coming from the other direction, you will encounter a poor dirt track with many potholes, very narrow forest sections, and low-hanging branches. I do not recommend coming with large motorhomes, as the roads in this area are narrow, winding, and steep. About 6 km away there is a beautiful waterfall and an old mill (Fervenza de Brañas) with fairy-tale forest walking trails.
