(2022) Tunis ariena - P16

Nice place to stay at the edge of the salt lake Chott el Gharsa. From an old stretch of road on the P16, turn west onto a good skiable track, about 1km behind a flat hill at the bottom of the salt lake. Completely tranquil with mountain and desert views. 4x4 not mandatory but safer. In the morning, only a pick-up driver came by and asked politely if everything was ok. Very good mobile phone reception.
