A quiet, beautiful spot. Not exactly quiet, but free and very convenient. Drive in, park, and drive out without having to turn around. At night, an outside light from the closed cafeteria burns, so it's best to sit across the street behind the trees. A good starting point for a hike to the cliffs. A horse-drawn carriage was parked with us. There's plenty of space. No prohibition signs. It's explicitly marked as a rest stop.
