(8970) Vaqueiros -

Beautiful place in the middle of nature, right by the river - very remote. Further up there is another place, next to an abandoned little house. When we were aiming for that, we continued down to the river. The path is bumpy - but we managed to get there with a van and drove slowly (we don't have a 4x4). It is pure nature, river & animal noises. Otherwise nothing & no one saw or been there. No internet reception where we were standing with the van. However, when we walked a little higher up the mountain, we had good reception again. The place is very clean & tidy - and it should stay that way :) not recommended in heavy rain or if it has rained for a few days in general/or several days of rain are forecast - because everything flows down from the mountain and the river rises higher + everything in front gets muddy. We really enjoyed the peace, quiet & time with our dogs :) I hope you have lots of fun & relaxation there :)
