This is the big parking lot on the left of the bridge when you come from Vergina, opposite the other parking lot on the other side of the river. This is a parking lot that is marked on Google maps, there is plenty of space for people to park to go for a walk and there is a water tap right at the entrance to the walk down the stairs 30m after the bridge entrance. Fewer trees, brighter in autumn and winter. I stayed there for 3 nights, nicer than Veria. There is also a spring water fountain in the parking lot on the other side of the bridge.
