The Historic Wapiti Lodge

Historical elegance, perched above the Shoshone River, in the heart of Wapiti Valley. This optimal location between Cody and the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park makes it the ideal base to explore the cultural, historic, and scenic pursuits of the area. The road west of the lodge to the East Entrance is 30 of the most scenic miles in the US including rock formations, the beautiful Shoshone River, abundant wildlife and numerous hiking, biking, exploring, hunting, and fishing opportunities. Built-in the 1920s and restored in 2012 and again in 2017, the Lodge features six guest suites, all with private baths and kitchenettes. They also offer a two-bedroom river house and two cabins located adjacent to the Lodge.
