Dog walkers use this place, but it is usual spot for me. at any time of the day or night. it's charming and quiet at night. you do have motocross / enduro bikes on the weekend but most of them slow down for cars. You can get there by van, but you have to go slowly as there are potholes, but that's what keeps the crowds away. several trails that run through the entire forest, don't get lost! Edit - The road leading to this spot is bumpy and sandy, you do not need a 4x4 at all though. If you enter the road from the A1065 it is MUCH MUCH easier on your vehicle. I tried the other way before and ended up turning back and going the A1065 way. :) Also, I put 8 vehicles but really that's including the whole road from the recommended entry point, there is a few "lay-by" areas en-route to the main larger parking area. Have a quiet peaceful time and please take rubbish with you, there are no bins or facilities.
