This roadside free parking is in a quiet spot, with first come, first served parking. We arrived mid afternoon and there was plenty of space for a number of camper van sized vehicles. It's a high vantage point with awesome views of Weymouth, Portland and far out to sea. Easy access to large grassed area with bench seating. The beach is a very short walk and would have easy access for launching paddle boats, kayaks etc. Local to a number of fish and chip and other convenience shops. There is an amusement arcade and small funfair near the beach, which is good for children. Parking restrictions are from midnight to 6am. There is a pay car park close by and that closes at 7pm.
