Park Beo offers a safe, free, off road area to park up, rest, refresh and revive with direct easy access by foot, bicycle or wheels to the Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway, a 30km off road cycling haven meandering through lush unspoilt countryside. Site facilities include; unrestricted height entrance, 24 hour opening 365 days, flat gravel parking, accessible WC open 24/7, baby changing, coffee kiosk, bike shop, e-bike hire, free e-bike charging dock, service station, car wash & valeting, butchery, hot & cold deli, off licence, daily home baking, whipped ice-cream, free WIFI, picnic areas, sheltered gazebo and kids play area with maze. Wilkinstown is an ideal location to get out to explore the Boyne Valley whether it be a trip to Newgrange or Slane Castle, hiking along the River Boyne or a leisurely Greenway spin by eBike. Mingle with the locals at Tiernans Bar, ‘swing’ by Castletown Pitch & Putt Course, reconnect and ground yourself by Whitewood Lake, pick up a few Irish words in the nearby Gaeltacht (Irish Speaking area) of Baile Ghib and savour good Irish food nearby at The Kilberry or The Greenways Café. Happy to welcome camper-vans, small motorhomes and tents for short stays whilst respecting the ‘leave no trace’ principles. Well behaved pets welcome. No fires, small BBQs on gravel ok if cleaned up fully. Support of our on-site services appreciated in lieu of a € fee.
