The pitches are on grass and located in the garden of a former vegetable farm. From here, you can reach Lüneburg via the scenic towpath along the Ilmenau River. Other destinations, such as the Elbe River or the Scharnebeck ship lift, are waiting to be explored. Hamburg is also easily accessible from Bardowick train station, with hourly connections. Bakeries and other shops are nearby. Opposite our pitch, directly on the Ilmenau River, is the "Hohensand" inn, where you can enjoy good North German cuisine after an excursion.
