I stayed there the night before New Year’s Eve when the whole city was full of cars and people. I was relieved to find a spot for my 6,5m Van so close to the city and all the action. It’s also right by the main road so it’s easy to access. I paid the fine for 2 cars (260 lira instead of 130) per 24 hours bc of the length of the van. It was a quiet night and felt safe, as far as quiet can go in the city so close to the main road. Just don’t park next to the security’s cabin if your car is long and big because they end up waking you up in the morning asking you to move your car because you’re blocking their view of the parking lot. I moved to a new spot that had opened up over night and everything was ok.
