In the middle of nowhere between Watson Lake and Carmack along the Robert Campbell Gughway there are many gravel spots along the road. It is all the nicer to have found this hidden spot at Finlayson Lake. It has a fire pit and an outhouse. There are two paths down to the lake for swimming. We spent a quiet night. There is no reception.
Turn off at the sign and keep right at the fork in the forest. To the left you come to the float base. On the highway further towards Whitehorse there is a hotspot with information boards and two clean outhouses.
