Camp Pod Sosnami

Pod Sosnami camp is located in Stare Jabonki in the picturesque Lake District of Warmia and Mazury in the north-eastern part of Poland, some 30 kilometres west from Olsztyn and 7 kilometres east from Ostróda on route16, in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie province. Set amongst beautiful coniferous forests the camp lies on the clear waters of the Lake Szeląg Wielki, one of the cleanest in Poland.  The 12-kilometre-long banana-shaped lake is a dreamt-of place for inland sailors. Those who are into surfing will find the lake tempting as well. The depths that reach 60 meters are a challenge even to advanced divers and the clear water makes diving an unforgettable experience. Anglers will find the variety and quantity of fish astounding! The surrounding woods are perfect places to relax and to regain power for another busy year. Additionally, there are hundreds of charming small lakes and ponds lost here and there in the forest, so, there’s always something new to be discovered. The time spent here will never be forgotten and the saying “Home, sweet home” will never be true again. After all, the hymn of the region is “Hey, Mazury, you’re so lovely, there’s no other such a place, it’s so gorgeous to be here, it’s the time of all my life.” Amenities offered: beach, bar and snack-bar (Catering on request), boats, table-tennis, volleyball and basketball field, small pier, fishing pier.
