(51050) Junik - Unnamed Road

The road coming from Junik is now 99% complete. There are about five sections along the way, each with about 100m of gravel road. Once you reach the top, there's a large gravel parking lot. There are two makeshift fire pits. We were there on a Sunday. It was busy until 6 p.m. The whole region is currently being developed. Vacation homes are springing up like mushrooms. A small kiosk selling drinks, snacks, and cigarettes is open until 7 p.m. The quad bikers were a bit annoying, but they finished work at 6:30 p.m. From here, you can easily start the hike up Kosovo's highest mountain. Caution: Don't take the hikes suggested by Komoot; the trails no longer exist. It's best to follow the main trail or ask on site. The hike is worth it; beautiful scenery.
